Review: The Fun Factory Stronic Real Realistic Pulsator Thrusting Dildo

I remember when I got my first ever pulsator from Fun Factory, way back when the technology was relatively new and the toys even newer.

My first ever Stronic toy had a grainy, gritty surface to it which scratched at my insides like sandpaper with each thrusting sensation.

Yet I’d put two layers of condoms on that bad boy any day of the week if it meant I got to feel its addictive juddering sensations clopper their way over my G-spot.

Nowadays Fun Factory have come a very long way with their technology. Their silicone is still some of the courser on the market, but not at all abrasive in any way. Their toys come in a variety of shapes, their pulsators have different, more efficient builds, and there are options for all different types of body and play.

One thing still remains the same, however; I am hopelessly addicted to the throbbing satisfaction that the Stronic line provides me with.

The Fun Factory Stronic Real Realistic Pulsator Thrusting Dildo

The Fun Factory Stronic Real Realistic Pulsator Thrusting Dildo is one of the latest models from Fun Factory (that is to say it’s been out for a while but I’ve only just got around to giving it a thorough *ahem* testing and full appraisal).

This toy is a revelation for those who have never tried pulsation.

The real thing that makes the Fun Factory Stronic Real stand out is that, unlike all of the other Stronic toys to date, the Fun Factory Stronic Real has aimed to mimic the anatomy of a penis to some degree by providing the toy with a notable ‘head’ and an equally obvious coronal ridge.

Now, I’m not always a fan of realistic toys but I can always appreciate the benefits of a well-placed coronal ridge. I use the term quite often and it is always with a happy cooing attached to it that would make you think I was a teenage girl in a cliché Saturday morning anime. Sailor Moon swooning over Darian, anyone?

The Fun Factory Stronic Real itself has measurements that are best described as ‘reasonable but burly.’

This toy’s head is a rather masculine offering.

Its total length is 7.8 inches with an insertable length of 5.5 inches and a diameter of 1.4 at the maximum. This really doesn’t seem like much but the Fun Factory Stronic Real functions by having a magnet inside of it which essentially gets shunted from one side of the shaft to the other, thus causing its ‘pulsating’ sensation (at least that’s my understanding of things).

This leads to a toy that has a considerable amount of weight to it which automatically makes it feel more substantial during insertion. Size is always the debated element of what goes in to a person’s body but I would argue that weight can also make an extreme difference (a lime glass toy feels considerable different to a hollow plastic one with the same dimensions) and this is definitely the case with the Fun Factory Stronic Real.

Inserting this toy feels like you’ve just made a considerable investment in your personal pleasure both in terms of abstract satisfaction and physical sensation and this is something I greatly approve of.

The other aspect of the Fun Factory Stronic Real that makes it feel so bulky despite its size is the silicone – which, as I said, is not grainy anymore but is matte surfaced, grabby in nature, and activates and engages the muscular walls of any internal orifice pretty much as soon as it makes contact.

The controls for most Fun Factory toys are a breeze, this one included.

This is a toy that is ready to hug ‘n  tug, as it were, because, yes – pulsation does feel a little bit tuggy in the most playful of ways.

I spoke earlier about how this toy essentially has a magnet shunting back and fourth in it and you can really feel the full force of this during use.

If for some reason you ever were one of the people who purchases a ‘Shake Weight’ then it feels very similar to that sensation – except it will actually get results for your body rather than just serving as an internet meme.

The Fun Factory Stronic Real is operated by three different buttons. One turns the toy on and off (useful to be independent) and is part of the travel lock feature. The other two control the toy’s intensity for rhythmic thrusting (7 speed’s worth) and filter through its 3 different patterns.

These buttons are easy to get ahold of and easy to operate, standing out prominently on their ABS plastic handle. This handle section is also where this toy’s USB magnetic recharge section is, which allows this toy to be 100% submersible (though due to the nature of its silicone I’ve never being a fan of getting tugged in the tub by it).

Once you start this toy up it will essentially start to judder back and fourth in a reliably continual and arguably methodical manner. If you want to increase the speed with which this shunting sensation happens then you can do so, if you prefer a bit of variety then you can use the patterns (which start and a sort of clopping canter and go from there).

I use a fair few horse analogies when using this toy but, really, it reminds me more of a gorgeous old steam train from the Victorian era; reliably chuddering onward with a chugga-chugga sensation that can be seen by pedestrians and felt by passengers, with a recognisable huffing sound to go along with it.

The Fun Factory Stronic Real definitely has the chudder down and the result in me was shuddering orgasms that matched the quiver of this toy and then so.

Surprisingly, however, all of my orgasms with the Fun Factory Stronic Real have been a rather brief affair. Gratifying, in every regard, but lacking in the lingering sensation of prolonged orgasm that typically occurs with toys that boast a nice coronal ridge.

I’m not too sure why this is.

The coronal ridge of this toy is a very welcome edition. It hugs up to the G-Spot with a sort of unassuming precision at first and it is only when turning this toy on that you realise why its contact starts as present but gentle.

Once this toy starts going the focus really does come in to the head and the opening of the body, where this toy’s pulsations feel like they are shunting back and fourth in such a way that doesn’t mimic thrusting but rather and hefty back-and-fourth between the immense forces at play inside its shaft. In short, you can tell this toy has something large bouncing inside of it and this sensation is solely present in Fun Factory pulsators.

This causes the coronal ridge to tug and wiggle quite happily in place, acting as the hand might do for manual sessions to get that nice judder of pressure going. The difference is that your hands are relatively free to explore while the Fun Factory Stronic Real is inserted, as its got the rhythm and speed of its thrusts covered for you.

The downside to this is obvious: If you are the type of person who likes their play erratic, spontaneous, or simply less routine then the Fun Factory Stronic Real can feel a bit too predictable, even on its patterns. I personally find its pace to be a reassuring pitter-patter accompanying my clitoral play with internal reliability, but everyone is different.

Those who dislike realistic toys, prominent hooks on toy heads, or cannot manage or get along with weightier toys will also find that the Fun Factory Stronic Real just isn’t quite the right combo for them.

This toy is also a dust and hair magnet, you have been warned.

As silicone is non-porous, phthalate-free, and completely body-safe this isn’t totally damning but it’s still a factor to keep in mind before buying (especially if you like your toys to be impeccable at all times).

As for myself, I enjoyed what the Fun Factory Stronic Real had to offer but I surprisingly wouldn’t say this is my favourite Fun Factory Stronic toy. That honour still goes to the Bi, which hit my internals in all the right places (an odd thing, given its a rabbit).

However, I do feel like the Fun Factory Stronic Real is still a very strong contender for someone’s top pulsator and I’d probably rank it as second myself. And, as I’ve only ever managed ‘Second Lady’ as a place in a race I think I’d be happy to take that when it comes to a toy too.

Final Thoughts

The Fun Factory Stronic Real is a dream come true for those who want a toy to thrust rhythmically inside of them while presenting all the benefits of weight and a grabby surface.

This toy is an attention grabber for the body while also still complementing clitoral or other forms of stimulation without trying to steal the show.

It is, in many ways, the perfect internal wing many to an extremely gratifying play session and one that I would recommend if you can afford the investment.

That’s a big if however and I know that this toy ain’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination.

My recommendation to you is that if you know you like hefty shunting motions and you have your heart set on trying a pulsator then the Fun Factory Stronic Real will be a very good investment. In any other situation, though, you might be better off trying to feel a demo one in a store before buying from an ethical company such as Peepshowtoys.

It’s always good to get a rough idea of what you’re going to experience from a toy before shelling out the big bucks.
