Toy Review: The Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator

I got my first G-Spot orgasm with a Je Joue toy.

I like a lot of Je Joue’s offerings (in theory at least).

I liked the last Je Joue bullet I reviewed.

For this, I’m ‘meh’.

Which is a bit of a shame. I am generally rooting for Je Joue, but I think, in this case, the odds were just a bit stacked against them.

This toy isn’t dreadful. It’s not a scandal waiting to be torn down with a scathing recount of failed experiences and disastrous results. It’s just kind of unexceptional, and that, in some ways, can be worst.

The Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator

The Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator is a bullet-style sex toy with a curved tip intended to facilitate G-Spot use.

The package for this toy looks lovely, at least.

G-Spot bullets are becoming more common, but each company seems to take their own approach when it comes to hitting that G-Spot with precision. In the case of Je Joue the curve at the end of the bullet is very noticeable (almost angular) with a little bit of a bulge before tapering in to a more precise tip.

This is one of the more prominent G-Spot curves that I’ve seen on a G-Spotting bullet (which typically prefer to go for a slimmer tip) which, from a practical standpoint, means it should have a better chance at hitting more people’s G-Spots.

The curve on this toy might look good for P-Spot play too, but this toy has no flared base to it whatsoever, so avoid trying to use this toy for butt action. Stay safe peeps.

For clitoral use, the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator is perfectly fine, though. All you really have to do is flip it so that the curve is facing away from the clit and you’ve got a smooth, bullet-like surface that’s similar to the standard Je Joue Bullet. Alternatively you can use that tip in order to go for some more pin-point sensation and, if I’m being honest, I actually prefer the vibrations of the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator for clitoral use, but I’m skipping ahead of myself there.

The Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator measures in at 4.25 total inches with a maximum circumference of 3.1 inches, which is tiny. Too tiny, I would argue, to really allow it to shine through as a G-Spotting toy.

The tip of this toy is soft and semi-squishy, which isn’t the best for firm G-Spot use.

Now, it’s not impossible for slimmer toys to hit the G-Spot. Some of my favourite G-Spotting toys are slim (take the Tantus Splish for example) but the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator just feels so bland when inserted. It can hit my G-Spot. In terms of sensation it does. But ‘hit’ might be the wrong word.

‘Hit’ implies a certain amount of pow: A bit of a punch to it that makes you go ‘Wowsa. No, yeah. I felt that. Ho boy’.

Compared the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator is more like someone just sort of placing their flat palm on your skin and leaving it there. Using it I’m just there like ‘Uhm…well…I feel you bro. And I know where you are. But didn’t you want to…I don’t know…do something?’

And, yes, I can wiggle, jiggle, and thrust the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator all I want to enhance its sensations but I find that I have to go really hard at my motions in order to get an affective G-Spotting experience from the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator and I don’t necessarily want to have to go hard or go home for every single play session I do. Call me lazy but sometimes I just want a comfortable climax. At times I’ve had to thrust so vigorously with the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator to get results that I literally had a cervical cramp come my orgasm.

That was not fun.

What is fun are the vibrations from the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator, which follow Je Joue’s own unique style, always allowing for a little bit of difference compared to many other brands. It’s not necessarily a rumble, and is not buzzy, but is best described as a deep flicker or fluttering sensation. This doesn’t always sit well with my clit or G-Spot but I just really love feeling the different sensation regardless of whether or not a reach a climax with it. After all, it’s the sensations and enjoyment of sex that are the goal, no an orgasm.

The Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator is, of course, made from a luxurious matte silicone, which is non-porous, pthalate-free, and completely body safe. The Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator is also waterproof, making it very easy to clean and suitable for submerged use.

The only part of the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator that is difficult to clean is the indented and very fine detailed logo that they included to add on their toy, which is unnecessary branding which only serves to act as an increased hygiene risk. I mean, I don’t know about you, but I’ve never really found any value in product branding on my toy. Not once have I looked directly at a toy in order to try and find out what company it’s affiliated with, so I’ve always just found included logos to be gratuitous branding. What do you think?

At least the controls are easy.

The Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator has 5 different speeds and 7 patterns, which is an impressive amount of variation if you enjoy patterns. Oddly, the patterns were actually one of the things that I enjoyed about the Je Joue G-Spot Bullet Vibrator, or at least one of them, which really accentuated the natural flicker of Je Joue’s vibrations, so bravo to Je Joue for working with their strengths in this regard.

As for the overall performance of this bullet, though, I’m just left rather lukewarm. I can’t really list many objective downsides – perhaps the lack of a storage bag – but it’s just the general disappointment of this toy that really detracts from its appeal for me. Take that as you will.

Final Thoughts

I think it’s pretty obvious that I can’t really recommend this bullet.

I say above that this is due to ‘performance’ but it would be more accurate to pin its failings down to design instead.

After all, this toy has good vibrations, all the luxury features you would expect (minus a storage bag), and it functions just fine, but the design of the curve combined with its shape and size just leaves it falling short of the mark that it’s trying so hard to hit.

Peepshowtoys provided me with this bullet for review, but I can’t seem to find it on their site. Instead I see the Rabbit Version and the standard Bullet instead and I think this is a good call on Peepshowtoy’s part, because these toys are much more effective offerings. With the standard bullet the inclusion of the sleeve alone makes it a much better investment than this toy.

If you’re looking for a good bullet vibe, go for Je Joue’s standard one instead. If you’re looking for a G-Spot toy then give this toy a miss. I promise you that you can do better.
