Toy Review: The Mystic Waterproof Silicone Vibrator Set With Changeable Heads by DORR

Wow…I…I’m impressed…And kind of speechless.

I think this is the first time that I’ve been completely satisfied with an interchangeable sex toy with such scope, and not just impressed – Left feeling like i’d actually recommend this as the go-to purchase if looking at the DORR range.

I don’t know what to say.

This was a review item that I was highly dubious of when I first got it. Having an interchangeable product with a standard handle that locks in to all of them to provide power reeks of ‘Jack of all trades’, and that usually leads to the inevitable ‘master of none’.

But I can confidently say that this product manages to effectively master each of the attachments that it offers. Yes – even the rabbit. Again, I’m speechless.

The Mystic Waterproof Silicone Vibrator Set With Changeable Heads by DORR

So, how exactly does the Mystic Waterproof Silicone Vibrator Set With Changeable Heads by DORR work?

In order to answer that we need to look at some specifications.

The Mystic Waterproof Silicone Vibrator Set is a set designed for multiple play options. It comes with one main power pack unit, which acts as the battery pack and control panel too. This handle section has a 3-button control system and an easy twist-in-place design which means that you can pretty intuitively start use of this toy right out of the box (wash it first though, for good measure).

You get a bit of everything with this collection.

The control handle is charged via USB, and can give up to 2 hours on a single charge. Now, disclosure time – I have used this toy to the point where the battery drained – but I didn’t feel like the charge time was unreasonable. If anything it’s testament to just how much I’ve been using this toy recently (or perhaps how flippant I’ve been with charging it between uses, or maybe both).

This allowed me to test out the recharge time, which felt very fair. I simply plugged in my handle (which flashes to let you know it’s charging) and went on with my day. When I returned the Mystic Waterproof Silicone Vibrator Set was fully charged and I was ready to get back to business.

And, let me tell you, this toy means business.

There are four different attachments for the Mystic Waterproof Silicone Vibrator Set: A rabbit vibrator, an egg, a straight ‘G-Spot’ attachment, and a wand. I think you can already guess my favourite.

Each of these attachments (and the handle itself) are coated with non-porous, phthalate-free, body-safe silicone which is easy to wash and has a lovely matte finish which is smooth and seamless.

The measurements for each attachment are as follows:

The Egg Attachment is 3″ long and 1.35″ at the widest point.

The Wand Attachment is 5.1″ insertable and 1.35″ at the widest point.

The G-Spot Attachment is 4.6″ insertable and 1.59″ at the widest point.

The Rabbit Attachment is 4.25″ insertable and 1.35″ at the widest point with a clitoral stimulator that’s 1.75″ long and .90″ wide.

And complements to SheVibe for providing these on their site.

In terms of size, I think that the egg attachment probably feels the least suited for its job. It’s just slightly too bulky for comfortable clitoral use (which should always be an option for an egg vibrator, in my humble opinion). Its bulged rather that tapered tip might also make inserting it a bit more difficult for some, especially for users of the typical ovular egg shape that you often get.

That being said, I personally didn’t struggle with inserting this product and, although I found it frustrating for clitoral play, it served its main purpose very well.

The rabbit attachment was surprisingly suited to my anatomy and is actually one of the rare rabbit designs that I actually find agreeable. It’s still not my personal preference in terms of achieving orgasm, but it has the capacity to provide one for me and, as such, will likely do a whole lot more to those who really enjoy their rabbits. The clitoral prong vibrations are usually a weak spot for many rabbits, but I’d say that the rabbit attachment’s vibrations were rather impressive, non-buzzy, and pretty much what I would hope for in terms of a clitoral prong. Again, a rare and very welcome aspect of this toy.

The vibrations in general for this product are outstanding.

Plug ‘n play style.

Given the plug ‘n play element of this product, I was really expecting its vibrations to be sub-par at best, but DORR have not skimped on the motors for these attachments.

Each one is strong, rumbly, deep, and seems almost uniquely catered to the attachment in use.

Granted, this is probably just a case of different shapes providing slightly different translations for a similar (or identical) motor, but it still impressed me and made each attachment feel all the more exciting and stand-out.

The wand, in particular, was just as strong, effective, and well-designed, as any other wand of its shape.

Because i’m testing the DORR it’s currently one of my ‘on hand’ products, but I’ve never felt like using it is just me compromising on power and using it because it’s close to me. This feels like a toy that I could (and would) get daily use out of if I purchased it myself, and as a power queen I found the thumpy vibrations provided by the wand to be gratifying in every sense of the word.

This was a set that, no matter what, produced great climaxes – the kind that leave you thirsting for more. On more than one occasion I have had multiple climaxes with the wand attachment of this toy, which I think speaks volumes to its effectiveness.

The charging section is easy to manage.

Granted, the wand isn’t as strong as, say, a fully-sized wand, but the same could be said of any medium wand and, as a medium wand, it hits perfectly in its power range.

As you may have noticed, though, the G-Spot attachment for this vibrator hasn’t got much love from me.

This isn’t because it’s not good – it is, in its own way – but it’s straight-shafted, standard, and relies on its slightly bulging shaft to get a ‘G-Spot’ sensation. This probably isn’t the most effective method for G-Spotting newbies, but the rabbit attachment does counter balance this, and, being realistic, it probably would have been a bit gratuitous to make the non-rabbit internal shaft the same as the rabbit but with no clit prong. Because of this I do see the merit of this attachment in terms of performance and variety, it’s just not my preferred one for getting off.

But, what does it say that I have a toy that literally leaves me spoiled for choice?

I don’t think it’s a bad thing.

Something that others might find a bit of a hindrance is the cord that connects the egg attachment to the battery pack. It’s a necessity but it does defeat the purpose of an egg for a few people (who may be hoping for some wireless, long-distance, or public use). This isn’t helped by the slightly shorter-than-hoped cord length, which could be a bit more reasonable in my humble opinion. But that’s probably the biggest downside of this toy.

This toy is fully waterproof, so cleaning isn’t too much of an issue, but do pay extra attention to that connecting screw section, as it may need a bit more attention at times.

No storage bag for this one – just the box it came in – which is a drag. This is another product where you could easily misplace a component and, if this happens, I think you would feel the loss.

Final Thoughts

Doing some snooping on the Shevibe site I notice that the DORR wand vibe costs £63.86, the wand costs £60.10, the egg costs £67.62, and their internal vibe costs £60.10. This kit, on the other hand, is £105.19 at the time of this review and contains all of those options. That means that, objectively, this kit can yield a £146.49 saving.

Heck, you could even buy two of these kits for less that the price of getting one of each of the individual toys (which total in at £251.68 together) and be left with double the amount of toys for your money and £41.30 still in your pocket.

Bargain.

On more than one occasion when using the Mystic Waterproof Silicone Vibrator Set I have even sincerely thought that two of these combined would be more than suitable for a comprehensive beginners kit which would allow for both clitoral and internal use, and do so to great effect. And if at any point you wanted to switch up and use a different toy during your play time it’s literally as suitable as screw-off, screw-on, resume.

I really can’t praise the Mystic Waterproof Silicone Vibrator Set enough. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with it, have been thoroughly surprised by it, and highly recommend it to new users and sex toy veterans alike.
