Toy Review: The Funkit Toys Swing V2 Silicone G-Spot Dildo With Suction Cup Base

Excuse me for a moment while I jump up and down in a giddy fashion.

Okay. Now the review.

Words cannot express how much I’ve been lusting after a Funkit Toys product. Funkit Toys is a small, artisan company that specialize in ‘body safe sexperiments’. Some of you may remember that I interviewed the owner of Funkit Toys a while back and its clear that the company are strongly driven by their love of sex toys and the adult community, which is exactly what you want from a sex toy company.

Sure, anyone can make a sex toy. With the ideal designs for many toys mostly figured out, you could (in theory) create an effective sex toy with minimal effort. But to create truly exceptional products I do believe that a passion needs to be present – a passion for the pleasure of others and how to best please a wide variety of individuals in a more nuanced and considered manner.

Funkit Toys create multiple experiments to this end, with the Funkit Toys Swing V2 Silicone G-Spot Dildo With Suction Cup Base being one such creation.

And now, thanks to SheVibe, I own one and can officially confirm that, yes: Funkit Toys are Funking fantastic.

The Funkit Toys Swing V2 Silicone G-Spot Dildo With Suction Cup Base

The Funkit Toys Swing V2 Silicone G-Spot Dildo With Suction Cup Base is a dildo designed for G/P/A-Spot use and this really does show in the design.

This toy is colorful and climax-inducing.

The Swing V2 is characterized by having a noticeable curve (‘swinging’ one way, you might even say) and sporting a large, circular bulb at its tip, which facilitates very easy G/P/A-Spot use. I mainly use toys for the G-Spot, so this is what i’ll be referencing in my review, but I am more than certain that this toy has the design capabilities to hit the other two spots that it is aiming for. More to the point, I have heard testaments that have told me as such, so don’t feel like this toy is a one-trick pony just because I’m more of a G-Spotting gal than an anal lady.

The bulge at the top of the Swing V2 means that, technically, you’re taking most of the girth that the Swing V2 had to offer right from the get-go. The rest of the shaft is deliberately lean in comparison, drawing more attention to this bulge and helping to make it more effective. The downside of this is that you won’t feel filled up at your opening when using this toy, but this isn’t exactly one for the girth-lovers anyway.

In actuality, the Swing V2 is what I would call a ‘modest’ toy when it comes to size. Its insertible length is 5 inches, and is maximum girth is a very manageable 1 3/8 inches. The base comes in at 2 1/8 inches in diameter and is perfect for O-Ring use. The fact that it has a flared base also makes it compatible with anal use (as you may have already guessed from the toy’s intended use).

The bulge is accompanied with ripples lower on the base, but I never really felt these much.

The smaller dimensions of the Swing V2 means that this is a toy that most beginners to penetration should be able to manage, medical conditions (such as Vaginismus) potentially causing the only major exceptions. Anal use might be a bit more of a struggle for complete newcomers, but this is a toy that you could theoretically warm up to, or train to insert in a relatively short amount of time. This will please those who are seeking a toy with the Swing V2’s design but whom find other designs too bulky or impractical.

The Swing is made from silicone, making it non-porous, phthalate-free, and completely body safe. But, here’s where things get cool.

Because Funkit Toys is independent, and diligently hand pours each creation, I can tell you exactly what type of silicone was used: namely Shore 18A FDA-certified food-safe translucent platinum silicone. This transparency (both in the toy and the company’s disclosure of its material) testifies to Funkit Toy’s dedication to the customer and making sure that anyone buying a Swing V2 is as informed and confident in their purchase choice as is humanly possible.

This silicone is what I would call naturally grabby but ultimately glossy when lubricated. This toy doesn’t start out feeling like it will be the smoothest contender during use, but apply fluid or a water-based lubricant to the Swing V2 and it will effortlessly allow for smooth insertion and a slick thrusting motion (and, oh boy, is this a great toy  to thrust).

Because this toy is high-quality silicone it can also easily be washed with soap and water and is alternatively safe to boil for 2-3 minutes or even put in your dishwasher. What’s more, because the Swing V2 is hand poured each one is entirely unique. The mold used is the same, but the swirl inside the Swing V2 will never be exactly the same as any of the others in creation. It is yours. How awesome is that?

And, one last absolutely brilliant addition that Funkit Toys has given the Swing V2 which I’ve never really seen in another sex toy is that the flared base (which also doubles as a suction cup to attach to other Funkit Toys) actually has folding sections which converts it into a handle. This allows for easy grip when using this toy solo and just goes to show that Funkit Toys are toy lovers (and users) themselves.

Behold!

This is one of those features that you don’t know you need until you try it but then you do and suddenly you’re wishing more toys followed suit. I’ll admit -it did make me worry about the overall integrity of the base over time (I worried about breaking it by digging my nails into the folding grooves too firmly) but my Swing V2 is still going strong, as are my orgasms when I use this toy.

You know when you’ve been wanting something for a long time and you finally get it? Like a cool glass of water after a full day of trekking around in sweltering, dry heat? That’s what using the Swing V2 felt like for me first time round. That feeling has persisted too with each use. Using it feel like that moment when you’re getting near the point of reaching your object of desire – the excitement, the increased heartbeat, the moments of fluttering joy – and then the climax. Oh god, the climax. It’s a breath of absolute fresh air. An explosive muscle release of clenching, jubilant, rejoicing that causes you to let out a deep exhale of extreme gratification. I can’t get enough of it.

The downside of this is that the Swing V2 is a slmmier G-Spot toy and, because of this, some larger sex toy lovers might find it’s not giving quite enough pressure or firmness to satisfy their needs (the silicone does have some flex), but this is something that, if you’ve read the specs, you’ll know in advance of buying the Swing V2, so it’s hardly a fault of the toy.

The only objective downside I can offer for the Swing V2 is that the grooves can lead to a slight increase in cleaning time (as you factor in the folding segments) but what even is that? It’s not even a gripe really – more an observation. Hardly anything.

Then again I’m biased, because I had a great time with the Swing V2 and I am very happy that slimmer G-Spotting toys like this exist.

Final Thoughts

When a toy exceeds my expectations and has very little in terms of downsides you can expect that I’m going to rank it highly, and this is the case with the Swing V2. But the fact that this toy has so much more going for it, in addition to being well-designed, takes this product and propels it into a high ranking position in my estimations.

The only big hold-back I can think of for the Swing V2 is the price. Some people might consider £56 a steep price to pay for a slim G/P/A-Spotting toy. Sure, this would be a factor if silicone dildos were to be priced by the weight of the product produced, but the Swing V2 is so much more than an equation of silicone quantity vs. price. Sex toys are a quality game and there are so many factors you have to consider and I feel that Funkit Toys have done a brilliant job in making the Swing V2 worth every penny.
