Toy Review: The Mantric USB Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator

Holy kale! It feels like it’s been ages since I reviewed a Lovehoney toy. Shame on me! *slaps wrist*

And, although today is World Vegan Day (and the start of World Vegan Month) I feel like I’ve coveted that topic quite a few times before.

But, fret not! Though I am certainly not one to love honey I do love the eco-friendly, new age approach that Lovehoney has brought to their new Mantric line. So, what better way to celebrate the day than to rekindle my love of Lovehoney? At least, that’s the hope…

The Mantric USB Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator

The Mantric USB Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator is the G-Spot offering from Lovehoney’s new Mantric range (alongside the Mantric Rabbit, which sports and equally delectable G-Spotting curve). The Mantric G-Spot Vibrator may be my preference of the two but, let me just say, I’ve felt the rabbit in person and I was actually incredibly impressed with how its clitoral arm felt. Make of that what you will.

The Mantric line is inspired by the terms Mantra and Tantric and harnesses the power of positive thinking, mindfulness, self-love, and mood rings.

Yup – mood rings – those things we were all enamored with back in the 90s and allowed to reveal to us the depths of our emotional self. Only now the color of the Mantric range changes with the pattern chosen, meaning users essentially get to become the masters of their own emotional desires.

I love it when my childhood favourites get revitalised with a kinky twist!

As it happens, the Mantric G-Spot Vibrator has 7 different settings, including varying intensities and patterns. But, before I get in to the specs allow me a moment to gush over the Mantric logo and packaging design. It is, to be completely frank, utterly brilliant.

This is glorious.

A simple and minimalistic cardboard box is offered up for the Mantric G-Spot Vibrator, perfectly fitting its conscious ethics. As for the logo…well, I’m pretty sure you can see the clever twist they’ve taken with this personalised mandala for the range.

Okay, back to the review.

The Mantric G-Spot Vibrator retails at a very affordable £39.99 and, for that price, it offers a heck of a lot.

This toy is great for the sexually adventurous newcomer to vibrators.

Not only is the packaging inspired (I’ll shut up about it now) but the toy itself is 100% waterproof, comes with a travel lock, is relatively quiet during use, is rechargeable, and has a flared base making it harness compatible and anal-friendly. This means that, technically, you could also have some anal enjoyment with your Mantric G-Spot Vibrator too, and i’m sure the experience would be quite delightful.

How can I speculate this? Because the toy itself is really good. Coming in at a slim 5.75 inches of total length, 5 inches of insertible, and with a very accommodating 4 inch circumference, the Mantra G-Spot Vibrator is so slim that even newcomers to anal toys (and vibrators in general, for that matter) should have relatively little problem using this toy.

I used the Mantric G-Spot Vibrator without a single spattering of lubricant on a few occasions which, let me emphasize, is practically unheard of for me. Even when using glass and steel toys I tend to put a dollop on for good measure, and yet I felt fully confident inserting the Mantric G-Spot Vibrator without lubricant being vital. This leads me to believe two things:

-This toy would be very effective for those who have never had an internal toy before.

-This toy would be a wonderful recovery tool for those with Vaginismus (and similar conditions) who wanted to transition from dilators to more sex-specific products.

Both of these conclusions make me over the moon, especially given the smooth matte silicone that the Mantric G-Spot vibrator is made out of. This means that this toy is non-porous, phthalate-free, and completely body-safe. Cleaning it is an absolute breeze as a result and, should lubricant be used, this toy slickens up wonderfully when paired with the right water-based companion.

The Mantric G-Spot Vibrator is a firm toy but with a flexible neck that allows for some reasonable wiggle. This creates a few different effects. The most noticeable is that, even though the main curving section is firm, this toy doesn’t feel rock hard and unwelcoming when inserted, again, making it great for newcomers and those who dislike things such as ABS plastic toys.

The other effect though, sadly, is that it means it’s incredibly difficult to wiggle and arch this toy to get very localized, strong sensations on the G-Spot, meaning you have to trust the curve of this toy. Thankfully, that curve is very good. Standard, in some regards, but brilliantly balanced and smooth in terms of curvature and proportions.

The shape of this toy also makes it great for clitoral use which, if you’re like me, you will be tempted by because this toy is decently powerful.

Yes to all this.

It does veer more on the side of buzz, it has to be said, but that buzz is more of the humming resonance you might imagine from the beating of a Hummingbird’s wings rather that the pesky flitter of a fly’s buzzing wings. These vibrations start strong enough to give me a great G-Spotting orgasm and to facilitate a clitoral orgasm should I wish it. As the strength ramps up things only get more intense and more effective and I end up gasping, clenching, and climaxing to an astonishing degree with this product.

The orgasms weren’t just prolonged but, at times, multiple, and the G-Spotting curve combined with the firmness of the shaft means that additional pressure really isn’t needed for it to make itself known. I really liked the vibrations from this toy, even though they’re rather different from my typical preferences (rumbly judders).

There are a few downsides to this toy though, one of which can be found on the product page thanks to reviewer Pmpycpl.

Because this toy is waterproof it comes with one of the charge cables that requires you to push through the silicone at first in order to get things started. I, like Pmpycpl, always feel nervous doing this, and think a lot of people would share the sentiment.

The other downsides are much more subjective. If you’re a size queen then this toy isn’t going to win any prizes. If you need that G-Spot pressure you may feel like you’re missing out, and if you hate single-button control systems then I’ve got some bad news for you too, coz this toy has one.

Outside of these flaws, though, it’s really hard to fault the Mantric G-Spot Vibrator.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Mantric USB Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator is a brilliant G-Spotting vibrator with the diversity for anal and clitoral use too and an accessibility for most users.

I would happily strap this toy in to a harness but, for now, I’ll mainly be keeping it close to my clit and my G-Spot because it does such a great job with both.

I can definitely recommend this toy and most of the Mantric range, and feel like Lovehoney are making some clear strides towards bringing people the world over true sexual happiness.

Recommend to:

Sex you newcomers.

Vaginismus sufferers.

Petite toy lovers.

Do Not Recommend to:

Size queens.

People who like stiff necks.

People looking for a realistic or rabbit design (check out the rest of the range).
