Toy Review: The Real Nude Ergo Silicone Suction Cup Dildo by Blush Novelties

Dual density will never go out of style.

At least not where my vagina is concerned.

And when it’s retailing at $46.00, is made from a body-safe material, and has a suction cup you can bet that I’m game to give it a try.

Already knowing that the mini version of this dido was a huge success for me (and a nice dual density option for analysis use), I felt pretty prepared for trying out the Real Nude Ergo Silicone Suction Cup Dildo by Blush Novelties.

I was not prepared at all.

The Real Nude Ergo Silicone Suction Cup Dildo by Blush Novelties

The Real Nude Ergo Silicone Suction Cup Dildo by Blush Novelties is a girthy offering of semi-squishy delight offered up by Blush for our enjoyment.

The packaging for the Nude isn’t graceful nor discreet, but it’s the package that matters.

It comes with its own storage bag and sports a rather compact suction cup, making it harness compatible and anal-friendly.The bump meant to mimic balls also aids in the latter and, due to its added girth, the Ergo is a bit easier to use anally than its slimmer counterpart. If, that is, you can take its measurements.

Size-wise the Ergo has a total length of 7.5 inches but a use able length of 6 inches. It has a 1.5 inch width, which most people can comfortably take vaginally, but which does require a bit of warm up for me.

I credit this to the semi-realistic design on the Ergo, which sports an abstractly veined shafts and a wonderfully bulbous head – perfect for G-Spotting action if the body is receptive to the dildo, but a bit of a stretch if you’re not quite ready for it. Because of this I advise a fair amount of high-quality water-based lubricant to use in conjunction with the Ergo, as this is a dildo that can provide some excellent sensations if your experiences with it are positive (but, like a pricey restaurant or vegan cheese, one bad experience can sometimes put you off for life).

This is doubly important due to the silicone used for this silicone. Its wonderfully plush surface and firmer core are of exceptional quality, there’s no doubting this, but its surface is grabby – whether its gathering hair and dust or cloying against dry skin. Because of this bodies with little lubrication will struggle if using the Ergo without adequate slip and slide to aid in use.

Once lubricant has been applied, the surface of the Ergo is as smooth as its shaft is satisfying, and sliding it in is no issue. The grabby surface becomes a surprisingly sleek, only semi-draggy sensation and it move sleekly across the internal walls of whichever orifice they’re entering. This makes the Ergo quite a fun oral toy too, though its bulbous head does make for quite a fun challenge.

The coronal ridge of the Ergo is smooth enough that it won’t feel abrupt during thrusting for most people, and its softer form helps prevent it from bumping uncomfortably against the pubic bone, for those who find this to be a concern. Despite this, my favorite method of using the Ergo is more of a clenching exploration of its surface, placed in the optimal area of my vagina, while I place a powerful vibe on my clit.

My most memorable experience of using the Ergo is definitely when pairing it with the Sola Jett (which I use in entirely the wrong way). The result was an orgasm so profound, so…epochal that I knew it would be one of those orgasms that I would remember for the rest of my life. I mark the gasps that I made during that climax as inaudible utterances that somehow breathed out a new paragraph in the story of my sex life. A moment that transcended my usually analytical reviewer’s mind and instead caused me to abandon all professional composure and writhe in enjoyment.

Or, to put it another way, ‘the Ergo provides deep, prolonged, climaxes that I thoroughly enjoyed’.

The suction cup for the Ergo did not impress me as much. A tad too firm for my liking, and not always efficient, I didn’t really find it to be the best available on the market. Still, it does the trick about 75% of the time, which isn’t dreadful in terms of performance.

Given the clingy nature of the Ergo, its storage bag is also quite an ill-fit, as it grasps defiantly against the sides when I try to place it in like a large dog struggling to avoid a bath. If I’m being honest, I’ve given up trying to place the Ergo in its bag after every use. Not only is it not worth the frustration but, chances are, I’ll be wanting the Ergo in a ready-grab position not long after using it once.

The grabby nature of the Ergo is probably its biggest downside, but it’s also easy to counterbalance, so I really don’t consider it too damning. Those who dislike semi-representational toys may also find that they dislike the aesthetics of the Ergo. This is the tricky thing with semi-representational toys: They’re neither so realistic that they’re uncanny valley nor abstract enough to entirely avoid being a phallic reference. Ultimately its personal preference that will dictate whether or not the Ergo crosses the line.

In terms of other downsides, the Ergo is not a firm dildo, meaning those who prefer harder toys may find that, although the shape of the Ergo is appealing, the softness might be a turn-off. Those who like a more prominent curve may also find the Ergo lacking, and that would be understandable.

But these are things that you’ll need to discern for yourself, your anatomy and proclivities being your own. very few of them are a true reflection against the Ergo, which is, objectively, very good indeed.

Final Thoughts

Given my experiences with the Real Nude Ergo Silicone Suction Cup Dildo by Blush Novelties, it’s hard not to give this toy a ringing endorsement, but this isn’t a flawless dildo and I understand that.

If this toy were less grabby and more matte-like then it may have more appeal, but I also have a feeling that I’d personally like it less.

The lubricated slide, effective shape, and balanced squish of the Ergo is a combination well met by this toy in every instance, and there’s always merit in a toy that makes itself entirely unforgettable in my eyes. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, as they say.

Add to all this the affordability of the Ergo and I believe it would be a great dual density toy for anyone to give a try. I can’t guarantee an experience like my own, but I do rank the Ergo quite highly regardless.
