Update: Lelo Announces the Lelo Lily 2

Hello my lovely readers,

Today I have some pretty exciting news for you. Lelo have launched a successor to their ever-popular Lily in the form of the Lily 2.

When the Lily was first released it was considered to be a game changer for the adult industry. Not one to be complacent, Lelo have once again infused the Lily 2 with an fresh new twist…or (in this case) a scent.

That’s right, the Lelo Lily 2 is actually the world’s first scented vibrator—designed to act as an aromatic aphrodisiac in addition to being an effective vibrator.

This is what Lelo had to say of their newest creation:

Of all our senses, smell is the one most closely tied to our memories. The faintest whiff of a certain scent is capable of triggering a flood of forgotten feelings and emotions unbidden. We create many of these associations unconsciously, and yet there are some that are much more purposeful; we wear certain colognes or perfumes we know our partner associates with us, we light scented candles to help set a more intimate mood, so why not create such an association with your favorite personal massager?

As someone who loves setting the mood I can certainly see what Lelo is trying to achieve here. It should also be stressed that Lelo is not trying to replace the scent or taste of a person’s vulva (or any other body part). Instead the Lelo Lily 2 simply has an additional sense added into its user experience. It is subtle and will be enjoyable for many, but should not negatively impact those who chose not to utilize this aspect of the toy.

The method used to give the Lelo Lily 2 its aroma is actually pretty innovative and is worth reading about. You can find out more about the process by clicking here.

There are three aromas to chose from:  Lavender and Manuka Honey, Rose and Wisteria, and Bordeaux and Chocolat. Each of these also comes in a different colour.

In addition to having an aroma the Lelo Lily 2 is also stronger than the original Lily and is completely waterproof.

If you’re interested in the Lily 2 then check it out here. And, if you’re really nosy (pun certainly intended), then keep your eyes out for my upcoming review.

Until the next review!

P.S. If you really can’t stand the idea of a scented toy then Lelo has also released the Nea 2, which is the same toy without a scent.
