Toy Review: The Tantus Uncut #1

Realistic toys are common in the world of dildos. I own quite a few of them myself and each one offers their own benefits. That being said no other dildo comes close to the detailed realism provided by the Tantus Uncut #1 (at least none of that I own).

The Tantus Uncut #1 is decorated with so many details that in some lighting is can looks like a real penis. But that’s not all.

Proving, once again, how awesome they are Tantus has designed the Uncut #1 to mimic the appearance of an uncut dildo with the foreskin only partially retracted.

I requested the Uncut #1 from Tantus for review because I am totally in love with the foreskin (and also with Tantus). Tantus, it seems, shares that foreskin-love and the result is yet another fantastic dildo which provides broad, textured stimulation.

The Tantus Uncut #1

The Tantus Uncut #1 is one of two dildos designed to look like an uncut penis, the other being the Tantus Uncut #2. In comparison to the Uncut #2 the Uncut #1 is longer (by an inch) and slightly wider. The length is the main difference but both are incredibly realistic and beautifully designed.

A lot of care has gone into the aesthetics of the Uncut #1. There’s skin texture, large veins, small veins, a urethral opening and, of course, the glorious foreskin. There are also creases around the bottom half of the head which adds even more detail and texture to this toy. Because there is so much detailing the Tantus Uncut #1 provides a fair bit of texture during use, which some users will definitely appreciate.

The Tantus Uncut #1 is made from O2 dual density silicone. This means that the Uncut #1 has a firm inner core and a softer outer layer of silicone. The core of the Uncut #1 is most noticeable in the shaft whereas the head of the Uncut #1 has a lot more give to it.

The outer layer of silicone is squishly but not necessarily plush. It allows enough softness to make inserting it easier but doesn’t feel as soft as something like Vixskin silicone. Still the balance of hard and soft is very well maintained by the Uncut #1 and adds to the dildo’s many benefits.

The silicone used for the Uncut #1 is 100% ultra-premium silicone. This makes the Uncut #1 phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, non-porous and generally body-safe. Tantus toys are also dishwasher safe and can be boiled for an extra-thorough clean.

Typically I wash my Tantus toys with water and soap, however Tantus recommends that users either boil the Uncut #1 or put it in the dishwasher. This is because all of the detailing and texture on the Uncut #1 makes it difficult for other cleaning methods to give the toy a thorough clean. Rebel that I am I have continued to wash my Uncut #1 with soap and water but I’ll admit to noticing how difficult this method can be. As such boiling the Uncut #1 or sticking it in the dishwasher really is the best option.

The Uncut #1’s silicone has a matte surface to it and feel quite grabby. However all of that minute texture also gives the Uncut #1 a very unique feel to it that does somewhat mimic that of skin. This is especially the case when it’s lubed up and ready to go.

The Uncut #1 has a useable length of about 8 inches and a maximum circumference of 5.5 inches. The girthiest section of the Uncut #1 is actually its head (after which things gradually slim down until they get to 4.5 inches near the very bottom of the shaft). This means that the Uncut #1 can feel quite girthy for some (even more so with the textured silicone). Personally I find the Uncut #1 to be manageable and can insert it without a warm-up toy.The O2 silicone definitely helps, in addition to generally enhancing the sensation of penetration.

Thrusting is also easier to do with O2 silicone, for example, because it is less likely to feel too firm when being rapidly rammed in and out. Still the Uncut #1 is quite draggy so those who love to thrust will need to keep that in mind.

Personally I love inserting the Uncut #1 to a comfortable length and then using the shaft to gently nudge it from time-to-time.

The most prominent sensation I feel from the Uncut #1 is the broadness of its head and the sensation of its texture. Because there is so much detail going on the Uncut #1 clings to the G-spot and gently rubs against it.

The Uncut #1 isn’t too curvy or too firm, meaning that it never applies a large amount of pressure. Instead its large head covers the G-spot while the texture of the Uncut #1 provides stimulation. This is also aided by the section where the foreskin meets the glans of the penis, which adds a nice, distinctive source of texture.

I wouldn’t say that the Uncut #1 provides phenomenal orgasms but it does provide very pleasant ones. There’s something about the sensation of the shaft enveloping my G-spot which I really like. It is what i’d consider to be a comfortable toy rather than a mind blowing one yet it still manages to be almost addictive. In short this is the toy I like using when I’m craving something more realistic and don’t want to be too overwhelmed by my climax. It’s a reliable toy which gives me enjoyable orgasms which last for an average amount of time, but the journey to get to that orgasm is part of what makes it wholly enjoyable.

In terms of downsides there really aren’t that many.

For some people this toy will obviously be too long. If this is the case for you then the Uncut #2 might be the better choice. I personally don’t use the entire shaft of the Uncut #1 but I still prefer it because it provides the option for more length. It also looked a little bit more appealing to me. I felt like it would seem more glorious during harnessed use, I guess.

As mentioned before the Uncut #1 is also a bit more difficult to clean (especially if your living arrangements mean you can’t openly boil or dishwasher your dildos) so that’s something to keep in mind.

Like most O2 toys the Tantus Uncut #1 also picks up a lot of dust and debris so you’ll want to keep an eye on that.

On one last not, before I go to final thoughts, how awesome is it that the Tantus Uncut #1 comes in three different skin colour options? Mine is ‘mocha’ and it looks great. I’m really happy that Tantus is offering these options and feel like more companies should do so too.

Final Thoughts

Overall I really enjoy my Tantus Uncut #1, even if it’s not as intense as some of my other Tantus toys.

The premise for the Tantus Uncut #1 is what makes it awesome to start with but the execution of this toy is what gains my approval.

Which a variety of textures on the Uncut #1 this toy allows for some very notable sensations while never feeling too overwhelming. Meanwhile its large head allows it to rub across the G-spot with ease, proving great for those who prefer a broader G-spotting dildo.

If you prefer firm, curved, or pin-point toys then the Uncut #1 probably isn’t for you. If, however, you love the look of this toy’s long shaft and uncut form then why not give it a try yourself? I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it just as much as I did.
