Toy Review: The Tantus Pack ‘n Play No. 2

Tantus gets dildos. By this point I have no doubt about this, they just do. Every Tantus dildo that I own validates this. At this rate I’m one Tantus mug and googly-eyed dildo away from making a shrine to the grand dildo masters that are Tantus.

With that in mind I expected no less than great orgasms from the Tantus Pack ‘n Play No. 2 and great orgasms were exactly what I got. However, the Tantus Pack ‘n Play No. 2 aims to go beyond its utility as a dildo and also strives to be a packer too—something that can be used for pleasure as well as for gender play.

So, was the Tantus Pack ‘n Play No. 2 able to achieve this goal or is it just another one for Tantus’ line-up of exceptional dildos? Read on to find out more.

The Tantus Pack ‘n Play No. 2

The Tantus Pack ‘n Play No. 2 is based off of the bestselling Mark O2 design but adds a new element into the mix. Instead of being a dual-density toy (with a firm inner core and a softer exterior layers of silicone) the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 is made from 100% Ultra-Premium super soft silicone with no inner core. Granted the base and lower part of the toy has some firmness to it but, in terms of squish, this is about as soft as a Tantus dildo comes. Because of this the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 is advertised as being suitable for packing as well as for use as a dildo.

The Pack 'n Play No. 2 walks the line between dildo and packer, but does it do so effectively?

In terms of feeling the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 is enjoyably squishy. If you wrap your hands around it and give it a squeeze you get a considerable amount of give and you can even bend this dildo so that the tip touches the base without repercussion. However the actual surface of the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 does not feel soft nor plush, rather it is a mixture of feelings.

The shiny tip of the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 is made from a glossy-looking silicone which feels smoother to the touch, meanwhile the shaft is made from matte silicone which has a lot of drag to it. Gripping this toy without lube isn’t ideal so I firmly recommend lubing this toy up before use.

The Pack ‘n Play No. 2 has a maximum circumference of about 5 inches for its shaft and about 4.5 inches for its head, with an insertable of 6.25 inches. While this is rather modest compared to some dildos its grabby surface does make the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 feel fulfilling to insert. However the super soft silicone keeps it very manageable and makes it better for thrusting than some firmer toys.

The Pack 'n Play may seem standard in form but it is exceptional during use.

My experience using the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 as a dildo was amazing (as expected). There’s something about the surface and shape of this dildo that commands my vagina’s attention as I wiggle myself to orgasm. The slight curve of the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 aids towards G-spot stimulation but the main feeling I have when using it is that of being comfortably full.

Orgasms with the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 feel reliably satisfying, though if I did have a complaint about this dildo it’s that it’s semi-realistic form lacks a prominent head. Without it this toy is still great but if this toy’s coronal ridge was more pronounced I think I’d be seeing stars upon climax. Despite this I can still definitely recommend the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 as a dildo, especially if you’re looking for a squishier, more forgiving type of silicone.

Sadly as a packer this toy is a bit more lacking. Put simply the Pack ‘n Play No. 2, while soft by dildo standards, is simply too firm to feel like an effective packer for me. It is certainly harness compatible and makes for a lovely erect phallus but as a packer it’s perhaps too erect, too ready for action. There’s no way I can find to use it without it producing quite an obvious bulge and it just feels kind of distracting and lacking.

For the sake of idle experimentation I also tried giving this dildo a blow job and found that experience to be a bit jarring too. This is due to the contrast between the glossy head and the matte shaft—which provides a rather abrupt shift in texture which just didn’t work for me. I guess I’ll be using other dildos for my oral antics.

The only other downside that I can find with the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 is that it is an absolute dust magnet and will need a thorough clean before and after each use. Thankfully this dildo is incredibly easy to clean, you can even boil it or stick it in the dishwasher. God bless Tantus.

Final Thoughts

One of the main things that I kept on thinking to myself while testing this toy is “If only a Realdoe Strapless Strap On could feel like this!”. This is because the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 makes for a fantastic erect penis for harnessed use and a pleasing dildo but, sadly, a packer it is not.

I’m sure people could make this work as a packer for them (and if you like a more obvious bulge then it may be ideal) but, for me, it simply didn’t deliver.

That being said Tantus has once again proven to me why they are the undefeated champions of silicone dildos because this toy fulfills that purpose wonderfully.

Because of this I’m inclined to say that if you want a packer then this probably isn’t the toy for you, but if you want an erect but soft dildo to act as part of your gender play, or if you simply like silicone toys with some give, then the Pack ‘n Play No. 2 will probably hit the spot for you.

Recommend to:

People who like squishier toys.

People who want an erect dildo with some give.

People who like semi-realistic dildos.

Do Not Recommend to:

People who need a firm G-spotting toy.

People who need a drastic curve.

People who prefer a prominent coronal ridge.
