Toy Review: The Lelo Siri 2

The Lelo Siri 2 has got me swaying, it’s got me jumping up and down, and it’s definitely got me singing from the roof tops, but perhaps not for the reasons it intended. Yes, my lovely readers, it’s true; the Lelo Siri 2 is…significantly more powerful than the original Lelo Siri. Oh, and it can vibrate to music too? That’s cool, I guess, but POWER!

It’s true, Lelo have tried something different (and, honestly quite interesting) with the Lelo Siri 2. Because the original Siri was surprisingly taken up by vocal coaches Lelo was inspired and decided to add a musical element to the Siri’s revamp. This, in theory, allows the Siri 2 to vibrate in response to sounds—be it your lover’s soft whisper of the booming bass of your favourite jam.

This is a cool premise, for sure, but, in my mind there is SO much more to the Lelo Siri 2 than this, and the changes between the Siri and the Siri 2 excite me. I used to think that the Lelo Siri would be the vibe that I’d recommend to those new to the world of sex toys, but the Lelo Siri 2 has firmly stolen that place.

The Lelo Siri 2

The Lelo Siri 2 is another product from Lelo—creators of my favourite wand massager and the vibe with possibly the largest cult following ever. Lelo also makes couple’s products such as the Lelo Pino—which are meant to be enjoyed simultaneously by both partners. In the case of the Siri 2, though, it’s clear that clitoral pleasure is the aim of the game. Though this vibrator could be used elsewhere and by those with a penis it’s clear that the Lelo Siri 2 has a goal in mind and that goal is clitoral ecstasy.

The Lelo Siri 2 knows my jam, and that jam is power.

The Siri 2 is a relatively small vibe which can be easily held in the hand and is ergonomically designed to cup up comfortably against the vulva. It’s slightly curved body is complemented with a more prominent bulge near the tip which allows for more localized clitoral sensations.

When looking at the Siri 2 in comparison to the original Siri it’s clear some other changes have been made too. The silicone section has been brought down further so that more of the body is made of this lovely, silky-smooth material. The body of the Siri 2 is slimmer and slightly more streamlined, with a sleeker appearance. Meanwhile the controls have been changed to make them easier to clean and more aesthetically appealing. These changes may not seem like much but it’s good to know that Lelo can always find room for improvement even with products that are already exceptional.

Small changes can make a big difference.
Small changes can make a big difference.

For me these changes also make the Siri 2 more enjoyable to hold and use—enhancing overall pleasure. Now for some more specs.

The Lelo Siri 2 comes in Lelo’s signature packaging which is ideal for gift giving and long-term storage. However for a less bulky option the Siri 2 also comes with its own compact storage bag in addition to a free sachet of lube and a warranty card.

The Siri 2 is USB rechargeable and 2 hours of charging will give you 2 hours of play or a 90 day standby time. I’ve had my Lelo Siri 2 completely run out of juice before these 90 days, so I’m not sure about the standby time but the play time seems fairly accurate. The Lelo Siri 2 is completely submersible which makes it easy to clean and allows for some underwater fun. And, as I’ve come to expect, the Lelo Siri 2 is made out of 100% body-safe and phthalate-free materials—a combination of ABS plastic and Lelo’s irresistibly smooth silicone. This silicone doesn’t grab much dust either, making toy maintenance even easier.

If there’s something I really admire about Lelo it’s that they allow vibration intensity and patterns to fluidly coexist instead of just giving you set patterns at set strengths and that’s that. This is also that case with the Lelo Siri 2.

The Lelo Siri 2 has 4 buttons—the + and – buttons allow you to control the vibration intensity, deciding the strength of the vibrations. Meanwhile the ^ and v buttons allow you to switch through 8 different patterns. The strength of these patterns is decided with the + and – buttons allowing you a richer experience and more control. Each of the patterns provided in the Lelo Siri 2 are based off of a different musical style—classical, reggae, rumba, folk, hip hop, soul, techno, or jazz. You can also hold the ^ and v buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds in order to activate the voice controlled mode.

The controls are easy to use.

The vibrations of the Siri 2, well, this is basically where this toy shines through. They’re awesome.

Lelo endeavoured to make the Lelo Siri 2 100% stronger than the Lelo Siri (and impressive feat for a toy that was already decently powerful). And, oh boy, is this toy powerful! As with other strong-but-small-vibes, the strength from the Lelo Siri 2 won’t beat that of a top-market wand but it is probably the closest you’re going to get to a wand’s strength in a portable, hand-held, cord-free, clitoral toy. The power Lelo has put in the Siri 2 is as impressive as it is intense, which is saying a lot.

In terms of sensation the Siri 2 has the familiar buzz-rumble combo that Lelo does so well with but I’d also say that they’ve added a bit more rumble and depth to it. When I used the Lelo Siri 2 for the first time I was reminded of my beloved Smart Wand. Sure, it’s not as rumbly, but it is wonderfully reminiscent and a whole lot more compact.

New users shouldn’t be afraid though—the Lelo Siri 2 isn’t all power all the time. Instead the Siri 2 manages to pull off an impressive range of vibration strengths, running the gambit from deep purr all the way to rapid rapture. Again this allows users to customize their Siri 2 experience, giving enough range in vibrations for all sorts of users to reap the benefit.

Of course I adored using the Siri 2. It fit my body perfectly, its silicone exterior caresses my skin with such sensational glory that it just makes using it all the more enjoyable, and its vibrations, well, I couldn’t have hoped for more. It’s not as rumbly as, say, the We-Vibe Touch, but it makes up for that in sheer power and still provides an impressive amount of depth. Orgasms with the Lelo Siri 2 were a dream, an orchestra of success.

Despite that I do have a confession to make; to me the musical feature seems pointless.

I’m not a pattern lover anyway so it was no surprise to me that the musical mode wasn’t a winner, however what did surprise me was how non-responsive it was. I literally had to hold my speakers up to it before it started to vibrate, or have my mouth right up next to the mic when speaking before it would even consider jolting a few beats. So unless I plan on shoving some speakers right next to my vulva or having my partner shouting sweet nothings at my crotch I really don’t see a practical use for this setting.

This wasn’t a huge disappointment to me because I knew the musical feature wouldn’t be my jam but I think it’s important to note for those who want to by the Lelo Siri 2 just for its supposed musical prowess.

Beyond that the Lelo Siri 2 really doesn’t have much in the way of flaws. It’s easy to clean, easy to charge, has enough patterns for someone who likes that sort of thing (though I wouldn’t call the patterns used unique in any way), and it makes me sing with delight at how powerful it is. I just wish the charge lasted a bit longer when on standby.

Final Thoughts

Overall I was incredibly happy with the Lelo Siri 2 and was impressed by the changes made. Somehow Lelo managed to take a toy I already adored and made it even stronger and even more accessible for people all across the vibration intensity spectrum.

I could list the achievements of the Lelo Siri 2 for literally paragraphs (and have, in fact) but instead I will take a moment to point out that if you were hoping for a musical vibrator then the Lelo Siri 2 probably isn’t the best on the market for that task. Honestly, though, it’s not something that affected my enjoyment of the toy.

The Lelo Siri 2 might not be a musical maestro in the bedroom but it certainly knew how to rock my world.

People who like powerful vibrations.

People who like diverse toys.

People who want a clitoral toy.

Do Not Recommend to:

People looking for an effective musical vibe.

People who hate buzzy vibrations.

People who want an instertable toy.

is this just as powerfull as the palm power and witch one do u think is better better

    • Good question!
I would say that the Palm Power was slightly more powerful but not by much.
In terms of which one is better it really depends on what you want.
If you want a powerful, cordless, easy-to-clean, waterproof toy then the Siri 2 wins out. The Siri 2 also has easier controls and patterns (unlike the Palm Power).
However if you want that little bit more strength, really want a wand, and don’t mind the lack of patterns and the extra cleaning effort then the Palm Power might be an option.
Keeping in mind all of the extra features the Siri 2 has I’d probably lean more towards it rather than the Palm Power personally.

Hi Emmeline! Which would you recommend: the Siri 2 or the We-Vibe Touch?

    • Hmmm, it’s a tough choice.
I’d say the We-Vibe Touch was rumblier but I’m not as keen on the shape as I am with the Siri 2. The Siri 2’s shape allows the vibrations to feel broader whereas the We-Vibe Touch has more of a capacity for pin-point stimulation.
As such my personal preference is towards the Siri 2 but both are great toys.
