Product Review: The Wicked Sensual Care Crème Masturbation Cream for Men

You don’t have to look far to see that I’m quite the fan of Wicked Sensual Care. I wrote a post highlighting them just last month and their Mocha Java lube remains one of my favourite flavoured lubricants of all time. With that in mind I was delighted to try some more of their products in exchange for an honest review.

Among the items I received was the Wicked Sensual Care Crème Masturbation Cream for Men. The Wicked Crème Cream is a bit different from most of the other Wicked lubes I’ve tried, mainly because it’s not water-based. Instead, this product has a base made from coconut oil.

Rich and creamy this masturbation cream is designed for use with a penis (because oil-based lubes and vaginas are generally a no-no). With that in mind I had to employ Mr. Peaches quite heavily for this review and I think it’s fair to say that he has reaped the many benefits of this Crème.

The Wicked Sensual Care Crème Masturbation Cream for Men

The Wicked Sensual Care Crème Masturbation Cream for Men is specially designed for use during masturbation. To meet this end the Crème comes out thick but melts into a smooth, slick oil when it comes into contact with the warmth of a person’s body.

This Crème does the job well.
This Crème does the job well.

The Crème doesn’t have much in the way of a scent, which is great because it’s made to be fragrance-free. However when very, very close to the nose there is a slight sweetness to it but it’s very slight (potentially non-existent, maybe a placebo scent, it’s that subtle).

Taste-wise this Crème is not the most pleasant of things. Upon initial tasting is doesn’t seem like much, and does have a slight sweetness to it, but it then follows it up with something that tastes similar to nail-biting deterrent. It’s not as strong as anti-nail biting varnish but it still has a chemical taste which wouldn’t make it number one for oral use. It also leaves the mouth feeling quite greasy, so oral sex is probably not an option with this lubricant.

But that’s fine, ultimately this product was never meant for oral it was meant for masturbation, so how does it hold up for that?

Like I said before this Crème comes out of its container thick and creamy. If anything it’s more like squeezing toothpaste from a tube than pouring out some lube. When first applied to the skin this lubricant spreads well but not eagerly—it has a tacky quality to it that grips against the skin and allows it to cling into place. However as you use it more the Crème melts into a very slick, very thin, and distinctly oily lube which easily allows you to glide up and down the shaft of your penis.

The best thing about this transitional lube is that it feels different during each stage of its shifting consistency.

When first slathered on the lube fills thick and sensational—or, as Mr. Peaches put it, “it’s kind of like slathering Sudocrem on your dick, but in a nice way”. The major feeling is that of the thickness being rubbed into your shaft and finding the sweet spots to caress.

During the tacky stage the lubricant still feels very luscious and creamy. Because it has a grabby feeling to it every hand motion is heightened allowing for moments of extreme intensity.

As the lube finally become slick and smooth the tacky feeling fades but the heightened awareness doesn’t. Every jerk, every slight motion of the hand allows for excitement. Meanwhile the smooth consistency works to help as motions become more rapid and allows for a big finish.

As the lube's texture shifts so too does the sensation.
As the lube’s texture shifts so too does the sensation.

Throughout this shift in sensations the biggest areas stimulated are the glans and corona—providing pleasant sensations which Mr. Peaches recounts to me as making a definite difference as opposed to water-based lubes.

While using this Crème on Mr. Peaches I also noticed the transition between the lube’s consistency. However, while I really appreciated the final consistency, I found the tacky mid-stage of this Crème to be a bit too sticky and thick for my personal preferences. Still this isn’t for me, this is for those with a penis, and it seems like it does a damned good job at catering to its target audience.

However the Wicked Sensual Care Crème Masturbation Cream is not a perfect product and there are a few downsides to it.

While this Crème contains coconut oil and vitamin E to nurture the skin it also contains a myriad of other ingredients. As shown below:

Purified Water, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth 20, Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Carbomer, Tetrasodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea.

From these ingredients there are two that are particularly troublesome and those are the parabens. You don’t need to look far to find out why parabens are considered to be bad news in the lubricant world. The debate is still ongoing but if you’d rather be on the safe side then you may have to avoid this lube.

People who have sensitive skin may also find that this lube reacts badly with them.

Other issues are all concerns of personal preference. If you dislike thick lubricants then you’ll probably dislike this Crème. And if, like me, you’re not a fan of tacky sensations then you might need to manually warm this lube in your hands before applying it, if you don’t skip it all together.

Final Thoughts

Overall I’m really happy with this lubricant and the beaming endorsement that Mr. Peaches gave it. The Wicked Sensual Care Crème Masturbation Cream for Men proved to be a diverse masturbation cream which showed an uncanny ability to progressively adapt during use.

Despite this I do wish that this Crème had a few less ingredients, or at least omitted the questionable ones—especially as Wicked Sensual Care are usually so conscious about their ingredients.
